If in doubt, shoot at home with your family…

This series of films were mostly shot in our kitchen studio, working remotely with regular collaborator Anna Lobbenberg from the British Library. Starting early in the first lockdown, I was very grateful for any work at all, and I had plenty of time to refine the stop motion aspect and involve my family in as much of the process as possible – particularly with my partner Ramona Andrews doing a fine job stepping out of her comfort zone and to become a card-maker.
